Come celebrate Groundhogs Day at Merkle! Join us for a short hike to learn about groundhogs and the myth surrounding them and enjoy a holiday puppet show for the kids. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes. A portion of the program will be outside. PLEASE NOTE: The bridge into Merkle is closed for repairs. Please follow directions below and avoid relying on a GPS unit. Free
Directions: PLEASE NOTE: The bridge on Fenno Road to Merkle is closed for repairs until further notice. From 301 take Croom Road. Instead of turning onto St. Thomas Church Road (as most GPS units and maps will suggest) you will need to continue on Croom Road, then make a left onto Nottingham Road and a left onto Fenno Road. Merkle will be on your right.
